Nich\u00e9 dans un environnement naturel remarquable, il t\u00e9moigne des infrastructures de circulation mises en place en Corse durant la p\u00e9riode g\u00e9noise.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-534c0ff8\"><style>.kb-image37_f22e74-d9 .kb-image-has-overlay:after{opacity:0.3;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-image kb-image37_f22e74-d9\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"194\" height=\"259\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bastelica.info\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Zipitoli.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"kb-img wp-image-1286\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Situation et environnement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le pont g\u00e9nois de Zipitoli est situ\u00e9 dans la <strong>for\u00eat de Pineta<\/strong>, o\u00f9 il franchit la <strong>rivi\u00e8re Ese<\/strong>. Celle-ci rejoint peu apr\u00e8s le <strong>Prunelli<\/strong>, sur l\u2019axe menant vers <strong>Tolla<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Implant\u00e9 \u00e0 environ :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>7 kilom\u00e8tres de Bastelica<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>15 kilom\u00e8tres de Cauro<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">le pont constituait autrefois un <strong>axe de liaison essentiel entre Bastelica et Ajaccio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un pont au c\u0153ur des anciens r\u00e9seaux de circulation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le pont de Zipitoli a \u00e9t\u00e9 <strong>d\u00e9saffect\u00e9 au d\u00e9but de la seconde moiti\u00e9 du XIX\u1d49 si\u00e8cle<\/strong>, lors de la construction de la <strong>route foresti\u00e8re n\u00b01<\/strong>, p\u00e9riode marqu\u00e9e par une forte intensification de l\u2019exploitation foresti\u00e8re en Corse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Avant cet am\u00e9nagement routier, le pont permettait le passage des hommes, des animaux et des marchandises \u00e0 travers un relief difficile, et XVI\u1d49 si\u00e8cles<\/strong>, le pont g\u00e9nois de Zipitoli pr\u00e9sente les caract\u00e9ristiques typiques des ponts de cette \u00e9poque :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Longueur<\/strong> : 19 m\u00e8tres<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Largeur<\/strong> : 2,80 m\u00e8tres<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Arche unique<\/strong> en plein cintre<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hauteur de l\u2019arche<\/strong> : 5 m\u00e8tres<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Port\u00e9e<\/strong> : environ 10 m\u00e8tres<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le pont est <strong>appuy\u00e9 sur un bloc rocheux naturel<\/strong> et construit en <strong>dos d\u2019\u00e2ne<\/strong>, une technique couramment utilis\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque g\u00e9noise afin de renforcer la solidit\u00e9 de l\u2019ouvrage face aux crues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00c9tat de conservation et comparaisons<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Comme de nombreux ponts g\u00e9nois parvenus jusqu\u2019\u00e0 nous, le pont de Zipitoli a <strong>perdu ses parapets<\/strong>, et le <strong>rev\u00eatement du tablier a disparu<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sur le plan architectural, il peut \u00eatre rapproch\u00e9 de l\u2019ancien pont situ\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019entr\u00e9e de Bastelica, lequel fut <strong>doubl\u00e9 en 1862<\/strong>, lors de l\u2019ach\u00e8vement de la route foresti\u00e8re reliant Cauro \u00e0 la place de l\u2019\u00e9glise du village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Protection au titre des monuments historiques<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de la <strong>commune de Bastelica<\/strong>, le pont g\u00e9nois de Zipitoli a fait l\u2019objet d\u2019un <strong>classement au titre des monuments historiques<\/strong> par <strong>arr\u00eat\u00e9 minist\u00e9riel du 15
